This NHEMA site is designed as a means of providing awareness and advocacy of the information and technology literacy standards set forth in Information Power: Building Partnerships for Learning AASL/AECT, 1998.

This site will communicate the activities of the New Hampshire Educational Media Association's Information Power Committee and will provide information and resources to New Hampshire library media specialists, teachers, administrators, parents and others.

The "Areas of Special Interest to Librarians" section is an alphabetical list of interest areas including cataloging and policies (including disaster plans). NHEON  New Hampshire Educators Online

NHEON is an educator's resource for curriculum planning and professional development. NHEON supports the proficiencies within the NH Curriculum Frameworks and provides a web portal for NH educators to share best practices.

This site is "a collection of Web Pages created or maintained by school librarians. Some are for entire schools, while others are for individual school libraries. This is a list of library web pages maintained by K-12 school libraries in the United States and in countries around the world. This directory is limited to listing pages which focus on the school library/media center. The content of these pages is quite varied and displays the marvelous creativity of school librarians around the world.

Click on "Education Links" to access searchable links to curriculum resources, state education departments, instructional resources, and "issues" in education. "Issues" include standards, reform, copyright, and technology.

"The MarcoPolo program provides no-cost, standards-based Internet content for the K-12 teacher and classroom, developed by the nation's content experts. Columbia Education Center's Mini Lesson http://youth.net/cec/cec.html

This group of lesson plans came from the Columbia Education Center's Summer Workshops. They were done by a consortium of teachers from 14 states dedicated to improving the quality of education in the rural, western, United States, particularly the quality of math and science education.
